The event was great the first year, bigger and better the second – and the trend continues. More than 3,000 people attended the 2009 expo and event organizers expect even more in 2010. The expo offers you a chance to promote your product/service to over 4,000 attendees who are interested in learning about the latest information available regarding living a healthy lifestyle. Marketing for the event will extend into the major media markets, and will target young families, young professionals, middle aged adults and seniors. This is a FREE family friendly event that’s fun for all ages. With more than 100 vendors the expo offers all of the newest innovative information available in regards to health and fitness. It will also get you on your feet and involved with its free interactive workout areas, kid’s games, demonstration stage, Tiki-head (inflatable rock wall for kids), live aerobics and cardio hip-hop demonstrations, giveaways, kayak demonstrations on the Grand River, and an inflatable obstacle course for all ages.

The Healthy & Fit Magazine Expo was created in 2007 to be incorporated as part of Lansing’s Fall into Fitness weekend, which includes the Capital City River Run. In its first year, with a list of excited vendors and participants lining up at the door before the ribbon cutting by Mayor Virg Bernero, the expo proved to be great success. More than 3,000 people attended the 2009 expo and event organizers expect even more in 2010.
