The 2010 Healthy & Fit Magazine Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan.

Now that spring is upon us, it is time to select your booth(s) and register for the 4th, annual Healthy & Fit Magazine Expo. The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Lansing Center.

This year, we’ve decreased the amount of paperwork for vendors (your insurance coverage is included in the registration price), increased the amount of advertising we are dedicating to the event, and we’re targeting Healthy & Fit Magazine’s extensive readership base to attend the event.

Last year, well over 3,000 people attended the expo following an extensive advertising effort that included monthly ads/references to the expo in Healthy & Fit Magazine; billboard advertising in Lansing, East Lansing and surrounding communities; live radio interviews in front of the Lansing Center before and during the expo; distribution of posters and handbills, prior the event, to vendors who displayed them in their businesses and advertising on both TV-6 and TV-10.

Our goal, this year, is to top that number!

The expo will again be staged in Hall A and Hall B of the Lansing Center, and will offer:

  • Over 100 vendor booths.
  • A central demonstration stage, for classes like Power Lifting, Zumba, Jazzercise, Boot Camp, and more. An area near the demo stage will be roped off for audience participation.
  • A netted area for public interactive sports inside the Expo (wheelchair basketball, rowing, floor hockey, etc.), so there is no reason for anyone to leave the expo for a demonstration.
  • An inflated rock wall and inflated obstacle course for kids and the young-at-heart.
  • The YMCA will stage a Lift-A-Thon at the expo.
